The bureaucratic delay of the A-Whale skimmer is just another example of government incompetence, the rule rather than the exception. The A-Whale, a three and a half football field long vessel was converted from a tanker to a skimmer after the gulf oil spill. It can skim as much oil from the gulf as has been so far skimmed. Put another way, private enterpise will accomplish in one day what government took seventy days to accomplish. And for at least a day, the Coast Guard and the EPA held the ship in port to inspect it before allowing it to go to work. Why didn’t President Obama order up a helicopter to transport the coast guard and EPA inspectors to the ship while it was in transit so it could start working on arrival? Here’s why. Incompetence. Here’s another reason. Our President lied when he said he was ontop of the gulf oil spill. He’s not on top of it. This fact is in our face day after day.

Here is a great piece on the constitutionality of the proposed health care bill. Like I advised months ago, it is not about health care, it is about the taking of freedom from the people. It’s an informative read but a scary one at that. Here it is:

The following comment is from Michael Connelly of Carrollton , Texas , a retired attorney and constitutional law instructor who states he has read the entire health care bill and has some comments, not about the bill, but about the impact upon our Constitution. It’s a broader picture than just health care reform.

Looks like something to sit up and pay attention to; once this happens, it will be irreversible.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HEALTHCARE BILLS?

Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House
Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law.. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.

To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying. The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of the medical profession.

The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats and most of them will not be health care professionals. Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled.

However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface.
In fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted, major portions of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have been destroyed.

The first thing to go will be the masterfully crafted balance of power between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the U.S. Government. The Congress will be transferring to the Obama Administration authority in a number of different areas over the lives of the American people and the businesses they own. The irony is that the Congress doesn’t have any authority to legislate in most of those areas to begin with. I defy anyone to read the text of the U.S. Constitution and find any authority granted to the members of Congress to regulate health care.

This legislation also provides for access by the appointees of the
Obama administration of all of your personal healthcare information, your personal financial information, and the information of your employer, physician, and hospital. All of this is a direct violation of the specific provisions of the 4th Amendment to the Constitution protecting against unreasonable searches and seizures. You can also forget about the right to privacy. That will have been legislated into oblivion regardless of what the 3rd and 4th Amendments may provide.

If you decide not to have healthcare insurance or if you have private insurance that is not deemed “acceptable” to the “Choices
Administrator” appointed by Obama there will be a tax imposed on you. It is called a “tax” instead of a fine because of the intent to avoid application of the due process clause of the 5th Amendment. However, that doesn’t work because since there is nothing in the law that allows you to contest or appeal the imposition of the tax, it is definitely depriving someone of property without the “due process of law.

So, there are three of those pesky amendments that the far left hate so much out of the original ten in the Bill of Rights that are effectively nullified by this law. It doesn’t stop there though.

The 9th Amendment that provides:

“The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people”

The 10th Amendment states:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are preserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Under the provisions of this piece of Congressional handiwork neither the people nor the states are going to have any rights or powers at all in many areas that once were theirs to control.

I could write many more pages about this legislation, but I think you get the idea. This is not about health care; it is about seizing power and limiting rights. Article 6 of the Constitution requires the members of both houses of Congress to “be bound by oath or affirmation” to support the Constitution. If I was a member of Congress I would not be able to vote for this legislation or anything like it without feeling I was violating that sacred oath or affirmation. If I voted for it anyway I would hope the American people would hold me accountable.

Notwithstanding President Obama’s college thesis wherein he referred to our founders as “so called founders.” Notwithstanding President Obama’s belief that the United States Constitution fails by not addressing economic redistribution. Notwithstanding his statement that there’s nothing wrong with redistribution of wealth. Notwithstanding all of this, we have his friends, the folks he brought into his administration. Here they are:

Following, in alphabetical order, is a list of some of Obama’s friends, advisors and people charged with enacting his policies:

* William Ayers—Now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers spent 10 years as a fugitive in the 1970s when he was part of the domestic terrorist organization known as the Weather Underground. In the early 1970s the Weather Underground was responsible for bombing the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C., and setting a bomb that didn’t go off at a military induction center in Oakland, Calif. The group also murdered two policemen and a Brink’s truck driver in a botched armored car robbery, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) website. Ayers surrendered to face charges in the 1980s, but the charges were dropped because of improper surveillance. Coincidentally, on Sept. 11, 2001, Ayers was being interviewed about a book he had written and he told the interviewer he didn’t think the Weather Underground had done enough. Ayers and Obama first crossed paths in Chicago in the 1990s and served together on the board of the not-for-profit Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a boondoggle to spend tens of millions of dollars for their pet “education” projects. Obama downplayed his friendship with Ayers as casual, but evidence indicates their relationship was much more. Many now believe that Ayers penned Obama’s “autobiography” Dreams from My Father.

* Carol Browner—Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy, Browner is an avowed socialist. She served as one of 14 leaders of Socialist International’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for global governance and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change, according to an article in The Washington Times. The group supports socialism and has been harshly critical of U.S. policies. She is also a supporter of smart growth policies, as we have described previously. Browner also served on the board of Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, though her name was scrubbed from the site after Obama tapped her for the director’s position. Not surprisingly, Obama’s transition team told The Times Browner’s membership in a socialist organization was not a problem.

* Frank Marshall Davis—You won’t find Davis’ name on an organizational chart of White House staff, but he was instrumental in forming the political philosophy of Barack Hussein Obama. Called “Uncle Frank” in Dreams from My Father, Davis was a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), according to a 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii. Obama has admitted to spending time with Uncle Frank—who he cryptically describes as being a person of some modest notoriety at one time—and listening to his poetry and getting career path advice. Davis may also have been a pedophile. Writing under the pseudonym Bob Greene, Davis wrote a debased pornographic novel entitled, Sex Rebel: Black (Memiors of a Gash Gourmet), in which he describes group sex encounters and sex he and his wife had with a 13-year-old girl named Anne. Davis died in 1987.

* Anita Dunn—As White House Communications advisor, Dunn has been seen a lot lately as the face of the Obama administration’s strategy to try and discredit Fox News. She is described on Politico.com as a veteran Democratic strategist and top advisor on Obama’s presidential campaign. As the war between the Obama White House (see more under Rham Emmanual) and Fox has escalated, videotape has surfaced showing Dunn gloating over how the campaign “controlled” the media. Another videotape surfaced showing Dunn speaking at a June high school graduation ceremony where she praised Marxist/Communist Chinese Premiere Mao Zedong as one of her favorite philosophers and one of the two people she turns to most. It’s difficult to understand how Mao had time to philosophize as he was busy killing somewhere between 50 million and 70 million of his country’s citizens during his 27-year reign of terror.

* Ezekiel Emanuel—The president’s Special Advisor for Health Policy, Ezekiel is brother to White House Chief of Staff Rham Emanuel. Ezekiel is the source of Sarah Palin’s death panel idea. This Emanuel has written that he believes many healthcare treatments should be denied to those under 15 and over 65 to save money, the rationale being that only people between 15 and 65 are beneficial to society.

* Rahm Emanuel—Obama’s White House Chief of Staff, Emanuel is a thug Chicago politician who once sent a two-and-a-half foot long, dead and decomposing fish to lobbyist Allen Secrest to express his displeasure. He’s known for his full-time use of gutter language and once told then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair just before an appearance with Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal: “This is important. Don’t f**k it up.” He also coined the phrase, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” He’s also behind the ridiculous policy of starting a fight with television news agency Fox News.

* Chai Feldblum—Nominated by the president to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Feldblum signed a radical 2006 manifesto which endorsed polygamous households and argued traditional marriage should not be privileged “above all others,” according to a report in Catholic News Agency. According to a statement from the White House, Feldblum has worked on advancing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights…” She is co-director of Workplace Flexibility 2010, which she described at a UCLA symposium as a homosexual rights group that aimed to change the American workplace and revolutionize social mores, according to a report on the WorldnetDaily website.

* Patrick Gaspard—White House Political Director, Gaspard was formerly a lobbyist for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the organization that sent its thugs out to disrupt Tea Party protests and stir up trouble at town hall meetings in August. Prior to that, Gaspard worked as national field director for American Coming Together (ACT), a sub-group of the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). ACT was fined $775,000 in civil penalties by the federal government for various voter fraud offenses. You can read more about ACORN here.

* Eric Holder—The Attorney General of the United States is an anti-gun racist who earlier this year referred to the United States as “a nation of cowards” on race relations. He also has an interesting take on justice. He worked to convince President Clinton to pardon billionaire fugitive Mark Rich (convicted of fraud and racketeering), Weather Underground (where have we heard of that organization before?) terrorists Susan Rosenberg and Linda Evans, and he declined to prosecute New Black Panther brutes who stood over a Pennsylvania polling station with baseball bats intimidating voters. Oh yes, he also wants to bring Guantanamo Bay prisoners to the United States.

* John Holdren—Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy is not only an abortion supporter, he is an abortion nut who believes that compulsory abortions could be sustained under the existing U.S. Constitution if a population crisis arose. He also supports mass sterilization of the U.S. population through lacing the country’s water supply with drugs. Holdren authored with two other people a book called Ecoscience promoting their loony ideas about population control and One World Government—or what they called a Planetary Regime—to regulate international trade, the food supply and determine the optimum population for the world.

* Valerie Jarrett—The New York Times called Jarrett, Obama Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, the ultimate Obama insider. She has also been called the other half of Obama’s brain. She’s another one of those Chicago thug politicians who has gamed the system—including operating as a slum lord—for her own benefit. Her company, Habitat, Inc., managed the Grove Parc housing complex which was located in the district represented by State Senator Obama. As state senator, Obama coauthored a bill to give tax credits for developers which Jarrett used on the complex. As U.S. senator, Obama pressed for increased federal subsidies for like projects. Despite receiving government funds and tax credits, Grove Parc was ordered demolished because of its deplorable condition. She also served the administrations of Chicago mayors Harold Washington and Richard Daly, both scandal-plagued. Washington, by the way, was backed in his bid for mayor by Chicago’s Communist Party and the local branch of the Democratic Socialists of America. Called by the Washington Post a tutor to Obama and his wife Michelle, Jarrett is the step-daughter of Chicago journalist Vernon Jarrett. Vernon Jarrett was an associate of Frank Marshal Davis, Obama’s mentor, when Davis lived in Chicago prior to moving to Hawaii.

* Kevin Jennings—This former school teacher and long-time gay rights activist was named Obama’s Safe Schools Czar. He has accused Baptists, the Boy Scouts and sports fans of anti-gay bias, and advocates a special high school for gay teens and gay-straight alliance clubs for every high school in America, according to a report in CNSNews.com. He believes that kindergartners should be taught to respect all sexual orientations while insisting that “ex-gay messages” and “Christian values” are misused to isolate or denigrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and have no place in the nation’s public schools, CNSNews.com reported. Oh yeah, he also supports pedophilia. While Jennings was a teacher, a minor student told Jennings that he was having gay sex with an adult. Jennings covered it up. He also has praised Harry Hay, a defender of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which promotes legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men.

* Van Jones—Once Obama’s White House Environmental Advisor, Jones was fired in the dead of night on a holiday weekend after a video surfaced in which he called Republicans a bodily orifice, and after a controversial document he signed was revealed. That document accused former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney of either planning or knowing about ahead of time the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In addition to being a 9/11 Truther, Jones is an avowed Communist. He was appointed to his position by Valerie Jarrett, who has been seen on video praising Jones and saying she and Obama had been watching Jones for a long time.

* Mark Lloyd—FCC Diversity Czar, is also known as the man who wants to stifle free speech in America like Hugo Chavez does in Venezuela. He has been videotaped saying the Chavez revolution in Venezuela was almost lost because of the privately-owned media. Chavez, of course, is the Marxist dictator of Venezuela, personal friend to Communist dictator Fidel Castro of Cuba and Islamic terrorist dictator Mahmoud Ahmadenijad of Iran. In 2006, while at the liberal Center for American Progress, Lloyd wrote a book entitled, Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America. In it he presents the idea that all private broadcasters should be charged licensing fees at a rate equal to their operating expenses and that money should go to the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). In a 2007 report entitled The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio, Lloyd complains about the fact that people want to listen to Christian and conservative talk radio rather than liberal radio, and lists ways the Federal government can fix the “problem.” His solution would include caps on the number of local stations a corporation can own, ensure greater local accountability on radio licensing and require owners who fail to fulfill their obligations to pay a fee to support PBS.

* Cecelia Munoz—Now White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Munoz was previously Senior Vice President of The National Council of La Raza, the largest Hispanic lobbying organization in the country, which has called national anti-immigration groups “hate groups.” La Raza, which literally translates The Race, funds extremist groups and supports illegal immigration as a way of obtaining political power. The group advocates taking the Southwest U.S. for the purpose of creating a new Hispanic state.

* Cass Sunstein—Recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Administrator of the White House Office of Administration and Regulatory Affairs, Sunstein is a Harvard Law School professor and dingbat who has—in writings and speeches—called for a ban on all hunting and claims that animals should be represented by lawyers in animal abuse cases. He is a socialist who has advocated for gun control and heavy regulation of the Internet. He also wrote in his 2008 book, Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness, that he believes people’s organs can be harvested without their consent. Sunstein would like to see personal email communications regulated by the government and believes the Internet is anti-democratic because of the way users can filter out information of their own choosing.

* Rev. Jeremiah Wright—Obama sat in Wright’s church for 20 years yet claims to have never heard any of the hate-filled racism that crossed his lips. Wright’s anti-Semitic, anti-American sermons came to light during the campaign. Among his claims: the U.S. government was responsible for infecting blacks with the virus that causes AIDS, America was responsible for the 9/11 attacks—“the chickens have come home to roost”—and Jews are responsible for ethnic cleansing in Gaza and are pressuring Obama associates to keep Wright and Obama separated.

Folks, wake up. Take your rose colored glasses off and see the truth. President Obama’s beliefs are contrary to the very essence of American fundamental principles. At what point do we start holding him accountable? At what point do we ask the tough questions, for example, “Do you agree with Van Jones’ beliefs?” At what point do we take our collective head out of the sand and stand up to this soft tyranny? Our president took an oath to uphold the United States Constitution. Yet, he has made statements that indicate that it is an imperfect document that left out certain things, like the redistribution of wealth. He even claims that the Constitution shackles us with hypocrisy. Shame on you Mr. President. Can’t you see what a great nation we have because of our Constitution and not despite it? Can’t you appreciate it for what it has provided you? Can you get over your bitter anti-american agenda, just for a little more than three years? I hope so. I pray so.

The question of whether President Obama should send more troops to Afghanistan misses the point.
What Obama really needs to do is: Invent a time machine, go back to the 2008 presidential campaign and not say, over and over and over again, that Afghanistan was a “war of necessity” while the war in Iraq was a “war of choice.” (Oh, and as long as you’re back there, ditch Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett and that gay “school safety” czar.)
The most important part of warfare is picking your battlefield, and President Bush picked Iraq for a reason.
Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan attacked us on 9/11 — or the dozen other times American embassies, barracks and buildings came under jihadist onslaught since Jimmy Carter presided over “regime change” in Iran in 1979. Both countries — and others — gave succor to terrorists who had attacked the U.S. repeatedly, and would do so again.
As liberals endlessly reminded us during the three weeks of war in Afghanistan before the U.S. military swept into Kabul, Afghanistan has all the makings of a military disaster. It is mountainous, cave-pocked, tribal, has no resources worth fighting for and a populace that makes Khalid Sheikh Mohammed look like Alistair Cooke.
By contrast, Iraq had a relatively educated, pro-Western populace, but was ruled by a brutal third-world despot.
It’s always something with the Muslims. You either have mostly sane people governed by a crazy dictator — Iraq, Iran and Syria (also California and Michigan) — or a crazy people governed by relatively sane leaders — Pakistan and Afghanistan, post-U.S. invasion (also Vermont and Minnesota). There are also insane people ruled by insane leaders (but enough about the House Democratic Caucus). Sane people with sane rulers has not been fully tried yet.
Not only could regime change in Iraq work, but Iraq’s countryside was susceptible to America’s overwhelming air power. Also, Iraq has fabulous natural resources. Once the U.S. got control of Iraq’s oil fields, the Shia, Sunni and Kurds could decide to either prosper together or starve together. (And it’s not just oil: They’re basically sitting on top of most of the world’s proven reserves of cab drivers.)
By contrast, there aren’t a lot of sticks that can be used in a wasteland like Afghanistan, where the people live in caves and scratch out a living in the dirt. The only “carrot” we might be able to offer them would be actual carrots.
But Democrats couldn’t care less about military strategy — at least any “strategy” that doesn’t involve allowing soldiers to date one another. To the extent you can get liberals to focus on national security at all, you will find they are rooting against their own country.
Liberals sneered at Bush’s description of Iraq as the “central front of the war on terror” and a step toward the “democratization of the Middle East” — as Mark Danner did in the Sept. 11, 2005, New York Times — because sneering was all they could do. By design, Iraq was the central front in the war on terrorism.
Any fanatic who hated the Great Satan, owned an overnight bag and was not already working for The New York Times was lured across the border into Iraq … to be met by the awesome force of the U.S. military. Bush chose the battlefield that made the best flytrap for Islamic crazies and also that was most amenable to regime change.
Now nearly all denizens of the Middle East want the U.S. to invade them, so they can live in democracy, too. As Thomas Friedman inadvertently admitted, Lebanese voters credit their recent free election, in which the voters threw out Hezbollah, to President Bush. (American liberals, naturally, gave the credit to Obama, who they also believe is responsible for the sun rising every morning.)
Brave Iranian students who protested the tyrant Ahmadinejad did so because of Iraq — and then they stopped because of Obama’s indifference. Sadly for them, America’s foreign policy will now be based on a calculus of political correctness, not national security.
During the campaign, Obama prattled on about Iraq being a “war of choice” and Afghanistan a “war of necessity” for no more thoughtful reason than a desire to win standing ovations from treasonous liberals.
But lo and behold, those very liberals who were champing at the bit to fight in Afghanistan are suddenly full of objections to the war there, too. As Frank Rich points out: “Afghanistan is not Iraq. It is poorer, even larger and more populous, more fragmented and less historically susceptible to foreign intervention.”
Now they notice.
Afghanistan is a brutal battlefield, largely invulnerable to modern warfare — something the British and Russians learned. But as our military under Bush showed the world in 21 days, scimitar-wielding savages are no match for the voluntary civilian troops of a free people.
Bush removed the Taliban from power, captured or killed the lunatics and, for the next seven years, about the only news we heard out of Afghanistan were occasional announcements of parliamentary elections, new schools, water and electricity plants.
The difficult choice Obama faces in Afghanistan is entirely of his own making, not his generals’ and certainly not Bush’s. It was Obama’s meaningless blather about Afghanistan being a “war of necessity” during the campaign that has moved the central front in the war on terrorism from Iraq — a good battleground for the U.S. — to Afghanistan — a lousy battlefront for the U.S.
And it was Obama’s idea to treat war as if it’s an ordinary drug bust, reading suspects their Miranda rights and taking care not to put civilians in harm’s way.
A Democrat is president and, once again, America finds itself in an “unwinnable war.” I know Democrats will never learn, but I wish the voters would.

It’s all about redistribution and the transfer of Wealth, all of it. Obama’s plan is to level the playing field. He said as much to Joe the Plumber. But he under-stated the magnitude of his intentions. He misrepresented his real agenda. Let’s take a look at the pending Obama proposals.

First we had the stimulus package which although mostly unspent, will impose a massive tax at some point, probably on our children. The money is going to “infra-structure” which means government projects which usually means unions. I’m not even mentioning ACORN and STORM who got money from the stimulus plan. (O.K. I mentioned them) It doesn’t matter really, the folks paying for it will only get a pittance of it back. It is generational theft. McCain at least got that right. It is redistribution. It’s a transfer of wealth.

Next, Health Care. A two trillion dollar package. Who will pay for it? Employers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, the tax payers which means fifty seven percent of the population will pay for one hundred percent of the cost of health care. Certainly it will not be those who don’t pay federal income taxes which is forty three percent of Americans. As a criminal defense lawyer, I see those who pay no federal taxes and if you think these folks are going to pony up, I’ve got some swampland in Florida to sell you. Again, the transfer of wealth.

Next. Cap and Trade. The White House Deputy Director of the National Economic Council, Jason Furman told Senate Staff the energy tax scheme would actually raise “two-to-three Times” the budget’s official $646 billion revenue estimate which means the cost will be between 1.3 trillion and 1.9 trillion. The White house says that everybody will get a tax cut based on the revenues. But forty-three percent of folks don’t pay federal taxes but they’ll get money. It’s not a tax cut, it’s a transfer of wealth. Again.

Next, bail outs. The Unions have been handed Chrysler and General Motors, with our money. AIG got a bail out, with our money, or our kids. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Dido. Wall Street? Dido. Sure the Feds made some money off Wall Street, but did they or did we? Are we getting tax rebates based on the profits Washington is making on the Wall Street Bail outs? Nope. We the tax payers bailed them out. They got the money. The Feds got the profits. We got the bill, or again, our kids got the bill. Was there even a whisper in Washington like, “Hey, the tax payers bailed out Wall Street. We/Washington made some money. Maybe we should give some back to the tax payers?” Yeah, right. Not a whisper. Another transfer of Wealth.

Next, Localism. Localism is the code word for the Fairness Doctrine which is set forth to make sure that all media has a balance of opinions, regardless of market for a particular opinion. Except the proposal of the diversity Czar, the guy who administers localism, is to tax one hundred percent of a media outlet’s operating budget. So let’s say you own a radio station. You spend a million a year running it. You pay a million a year so an alternative voice can set up their own radio station. A massive transfer of wealth.

Lastly, for now, the impending tax increases on those who pay taxes and yes, this means you middle class. Math dictates as such. They can take all the income of the rich and it won’t come close to cleaning up our financial house. So middle class, get ready for lie number? I’m not sure which lie number it is. Let us review: I count the following big ones:

1. No ear marks lie (about 9000 on the stimulus plan).
2. I’ll go line by line on every bill and cut waste lie. (he didn’t read the stimulus bill. He hasn’t read the health care bills)
3. I won’t go back in time and prosecute those who interrogated terrorists lie. (He is)
4. There will be no rationing lie. (Increased demand and decreased supply will cause rationing)
5. You can keep the same doctor lie. (Not under his plan and it’s impact on Medicine)
6. You can stay in the plan you have if you want it lie. (Not if it changes one iota and not after five years for certain. Read the bill.)
7. There will be no “death panels” lie. (Rationing and boards that will advise elderly to take pain pills, his words, will effectively have life and death dispositive impact on one’s life)
8. Illegals won’t get coverage under my health care lie. (Nowhere does it say this in the bill)
9. Obama care won’t pay for abortions lie. (Nowhere does it say this in the bill and Amendments desired to be added do say the opposite.)
10. I’m going to reach across the aisle lie. (Google reconciliation and the threat to use it to pass health care. I haven’t heard Obama comment on the use of reconciliation which is definitely not reaching across the aisle. He didn’t reach across the aisle on the Stimulus bill)

So lucky lie number eleven is, drum roll, “I’m not a socialist.” What’s the saying, “if it looks like and sounds like a duck, it’s a duck.” Right on point.

Wait, I thought of another one. “No lobbyists in my administration.” So “I’m not a socialist” is actually big lie number twelve.

It’s a transfer of wealth, plain as day, all of it.

It’s true that most taxes have some element of wealth transfer in them. But the size of the transfers that Obama is proposing is ghastly. It’s un-American and because of the size of the debt he’s creating and our politicians’ addiction to taking care of everybody who supposedly needs and who will supposedly vote for the wet nurses satisfying the needs, it’s another transfer of wealth. And here’s the mantra that’s being imposed on us. Obama won’t say it, but think about it. He has communists working for him, so here’s his unspoken mantra: From each according to his abilities. To each according to his needs. Marxism? Maybe not? Maybe only acute socialism. Aren’t we lucky. Hurray, we’re only on our way to becoming socialists. Don’t get discouraged Marxists. There really is no total communist economy. Black markets ruin communist perfection every time.

These policies are ruining our nation, just like these policies have ruined every nation they’ve ever been employed in. Period. Show me one it hasn’t done so. There aren’t any. And don’t start preaching Sweden or France. But for our freedom and non-socialist principles they’d be speaking either German or Russian.

So support Obama’s policies if you like and if you are eager for the result of his programs, if you just can’t wait, cut to the chase and move to Cuba or Venezuela or some other place where these programs have suppressed the people contrary to our founding principles. Because that’s where we are headed. What? You don’t want to move to Cuba? Then I ask you Obama policy supporters, what in the world are you thinking? Because you’re bringing these countries’ policies here, to America. You should be ashamed, really. You say we’re not bringing these policies home? Let’s take a look. Socialized medicine, state control and ownership of manufacturing, insurance and finance, state control of media through localism, salary caps, mandatory civil service core, huge government, high taxes, attacks on wealth and productivity. . . I’m sure I’m missing a few.

This is where we’re headed. Unless the Tea Parties work, and damn, it looks like they just might. And I’m loving it. So if you love our country, keep going to tea parties, keep protesting, keep writing, keep confronting those who are destroying our country with their time and time again failed agendas.

Originally, the title Czar (derived from Caesar) meant Emperor in the European medieval sense of the term, that is, a ruler who claims the same rank as a Roman emperor, with the approval of another emperor or a supreme ecclesiastical official (the Pope or the Ecumenical Patriarch).

There is a revolution under foot in Iran. People are getting killed and our President states that he doesn’t want to meddle? Nobody is asking or expecting any military action, any action really, other than that our President make a statement which supports human rights and freedom and condemns the attack of these principles. Yet, our President doesn’t want to “meddle.” Bizarre. The foundation of the United States is liberty. It is our life blood and our President is afraid to support others sacrificing their lives for it? unbelievable! It begs the question; What is his agenda?

Here’s what I think it is. I think he is seeking a merger of political morality. He certainly doesn’t mind election fraud. Not once has he ever commented on Acorn’s abuses and illegal acts. So who is he to criticize Iran? He doesn’t mind government control of banks, insurance companies, auto companies, health care, the air waves (the fairness doctrine), energy consumption (cap and trade), and our productivity (increased taxes). Chavez said he was jealous of Obama’s swift business take overs. He is a strong proponent of gun control. Hitler took away the guns. He has appointed czar after czar, most recently the pay czar; he wants to control our receipt of wages. Think former Soviet Union. His abuse of power in the GM and Chrysler debacle’s is amazingly brash, violating fundamental legal principles of contract and bankruptcy laws. Think country of men, rather than a country of laws. Think dictatorship.

So what does this guy want? Here it is; a merger or compromise between our liberty and other’s lack of it. His policies indicate that he wants us to be more like other nations with less freedom, less liberty. His agenda cannot be reconciled with any other conclusion. Even if he denies that he is an adversary of freedom, his agenda is just that, an adversary of freedom.

And as his agenda sets in, he is weak on condemning nations that attack liberty. He compares the holocaust with Israeli occupations. He falsely lists Muslim achievements, going so far as stating that the Muslim faith was a pioneer of tolerance. He sits through Chavez’s blistering attack on America. He apologizes for us, as if we are bad folks.

So as the world becomes more engulfed in chaos, he uses his silver tongue to legislate us into something closer to our adversaries. The bad guys suppress freedom, crave nuclear arms, subsidize terrorists and our President suppresses our freedoms, spends us into bankruptcy, suggests unilateral nuclear disarmament, embraces our foes, and makes us more like them. It is nothing more than a merger, an averaging of all that is good in our country with all that is bad in theirs.

I don’t want to merge. We are great because we are free. Freedom and excellence are absolutely co-dependent, always were, always will be. If we merge our philosophies with theirs, we will lose our freedom and more importantly our excellence. And ultimately, we will lose the very soul of our country. Very un-American Mr. President. Very destructive. And very wrong.

They say Obama is smart. I don’t believe “smart” and “wrong” are compatible traits. “Clever” though, “clever” and “wrong” go together quite well. Just study our President and you’ll find this to be true. He is clever indeed. But he is wrong; unless he’s pushing a merger, or worse, a hostile take over, of us.
